Outcomes can be broadly classified as Program Outcomes and
Course Outcomes

Program Outcomes (POs)

Program outcomes are statements that describe what students are expected
to know and be able to do by the time of graduation.

Guidelines for the POs
Program outcomes basically describe knowledge, skills and behavior of
students as they progress through the program as well as by the time of
graduation.
POs should not be too broad
They must align with the Graduate Attributes of an Accrediting Agency
Outcomes should be

Efforts of NBA to Facilitate Outcome Based Education
NBA is conducting following Orientation/Training Programmes:

Faculty Development Programme
Management Development Programme
Members of Board of Studies/Academic Committees/Council
Evaluators Orientation Programme
Institute Orientation Programme

NBA has developed the material for training of the stakeholders for
Outcome Based Education and Accreditation and placed at on its website.

NBA is in process of developing a Comprehensive Training Module
comprises web based online-training at the nodal centre and via video
conference with the resource person on Outcome Based Education and
Accreditation .


Efforts of NBA to Facilitate Outcome Based Education
NBA Associate


Scheme of NBA Associates has been launched by Honble
Minister of HRD with following features:
Opportunities to have the guest lecture from eminent
educationists and/or prominent specialist (including from
abroad).
Opportunities to address the issue of non-availability of
Faculty/Expert Faculty within the member community.
Access to NBAs webcast/webinars
Access to NBAs Video Conferencing System on anywhere
basis.
Participation in training/Orientation through Webinar.
