because the few rich ones who *are* enjoying the above, while refusing to engage
in the kind of altruism that is taught by religions. "All of God's creation is
His family, and God loves most those who are good to His family", "Share with ot
hers, even if all you have to share is one date", "Whoever covers up people's fa
ults (instead of exposing them and gossiping about them to others), it's as if h
e has given life to a child who was buried alive", "You will not enter Paradise
until you have faith, and you will not have faith until you love each other", "I
f there are three people, two of them should not talk secretly to the exclusion
of the third (as the third will feel left out or talked-about)", "The white man
is not better than the black man, and the black man is not better than the white
man... people are only good based on the piety of their hearts", "Love for you
r brother (i.e. your fellow human) what you love yourself, and dislike for him w
hat you dislike for yourself", "Women are the twin halves of men", "The best of
you are those who are the best to their womenfolk", "A person whose neighbor goe
s to bed hungry while he sleeps on a full stomach is not one of us", "the best s
truggle for the sake of God is to tell a tyrant ruler about justice", "God does
not need anything of you, but He is not pleased with denial/ungratefulness of Hi
s bondsmen, and if you are grateful, He is pleased with you", "Whoever receives
guidance, does so for his own good, and whoever turns away from it does so to hi
s own harm", "Have those whom they set up in place of God ever created anything
like what God did, because of which the question of creation has confused to the

: every one with a certain amount of yearly savings should give 2.5% of their we
alth to the poor, and if they don't know any poor, they have to go out into soci
ety and look for them. And charity isn't about dumping some funds to any old org
anization and feeling good about oneself, but the best charity is the one that's
given in secret so that noone else knows about it, in order to ensure that one'
s heart is doing it purely for the good of it, without any expectations or ulter
ior motives, and not because one vainly enjoys people's appreciation of their ge
nerosity. I believe these are the real truths that set everyone free, and they a
re taught by religion, and it is only because of the move away from religion tha
t the world is seeing problems. And if you don't believe in the words of God or
the prophets, that you make up your own gods and prophets, such as your own ego,
your own self-created philosophies, or the words of some scientists, so you are
not free either, but as bounded in your own ideologies as any religious person.
But I have never found any of the above teachings in the books of people who de
ny God.
