1951

Bob Lee forms Wing Archery Company in Houston, Texas, producing handcrafted,
custom traditional bows

1959

Through dogged determination -- and the donation of dozens of Red Wing Hunter
model bows -- Bob Lee lobbies successfully for an archery-only hunting season

1959

Bob assists in forming the Pope & Young Club, an organization dedicated to
developing records for quality game taken with a bow and arrow -- the archery
counterpart of the Boone & Crockett records club

1963

Bob produces the first laminated 3-piece bow -- the Presentation II. The P-II
proves an overwhelming and immediate success, and will be regarded for decades
to come as one of the finest models the industry has seen

1965

The company relocates to Jacksonville, Texas, establishing itself as the largest

employer in the city, with shipments exceeding 300 bows per day

1968

Bob helps to form the national Archery Manufacturers Organization (AMO), an

association that develops industry trade standards for measuring bow weight, draw
lengths, etc.

1968

Bob sells Wing Archery, the third largest archery manufacturing company in the
world, to Head Ski and remains as CEO

1972

Bob Lee retires his position with Head Ski (now owned by AMF-Head)

1989

Bob and son Rob launch Bob Lee Archery with a newfound committment to the
preservation of handcrafted bows -- at a rate of up to 4 bows per day, a stark
contrast to the mass production volume of the Wing heyday

2007

Bob Lee is inducted into the National Bowhunters Hall of Fame before a standing
ovation audience at a dedication ceremony in Las Vegas

2010

The company moves into a newly-constructed facility on

nine acres in Jacksonville. The lobby serves as a Wing
museum where Bobs first bow, produced in 1951, hangs
with dozens of Wing models.

2011

The company celebrates Bobs 60th anniversary in

bow-building with the unveiling of a Limited Edition
Anniversary model aptly-named The Legacy featuring
Stabi-LockTM - an innovative limb attachment system.

At age 83, Bob still works full-time in the

business -- designing and handcrafting bows.

This bow model was specially-designed by Rob and

Bob Lee for J.J. to commemorate the birth of Robs
first grandchild and Bobs first great-grandchild, Miss
Jenna Lee. Presented in October 2010 following Jennas
birth to the beaming first-time father, J.J. exclaimed, Im
convinced that I own the Greatest Bow on the Planet.
This model is offered (with J.J.s blessing) to the public.
Available in a One-Piece Recurve,
Stickbow, Takedown Longbow
or Recurve

Twenty-three days after receiving his bow, J.J. harvested

this trophy buck in East Texas (10 miles from his house)
with his Fathers Day gift.

THE BOB LEE

EXCLUSIVE
DOUBLEBOLT
ATTACHMENT
SYSTEM
Our detachable
limb assembly for
our takedowns
has been carefully
developed to
ensure the most
positive alignment
obtainable, with a fit of +/ .002. This unique
system increases the stability of the bow
which translates to speed and accuracy. This
coupling system offers a marked advantage
over single-bolt systems on the market. After
all, we invented the takedown!

OUR SUPERIOR
SIGHT WINDOW
Our design boasts a sight
window cut as close to true
center shot as possible in
a wooden bow. The shelf
is radiused front to back to
reduce contact between
arrow and shelf. A 45-degree
angle is cut from the shelfs
outer edge to further minimize
arrow encumbrance. As a final
measure, the shelf is lowered to
the closest proximity possible
to the shooters hand. Extensive
handshaping, sanding and
finessing is necessary to create
these exclusive elements
all critical for optimal arrow
clearance and flight.

EXTRA LIMBS or HANDLES

If you order an extra set of limbs at a future date, your handle must be shipped to us for proper
fitting; to save shipping costs and time without your bow, we offer a 10% DISCOUNT off the
regular price for extra limbs ordered at the same time as your bow purchase. See order form
for pricing.
Extra handles can also be ordered for your takedown at 60% of the regular price for the full bow
of any given model. If ordered in conjunction with a full bow, a 10% DISCOUNT will be applied to
the regular price of a handle.

CHOOSING the GRIP

We offer three grips: low, medium and high. The low grip is considered
longbow style for those who prefer shooting with the entire palm
contacting the grip. Our medium grip is by far our most popular grip,
receiving many compliments from customers who appreciate the way
the grip falls into the hand for an exceedingly natural fit. Our high grip
is an exaggerated medium grip for Olympic-style target shooting.
