A FATHERS HEART

A wayward son brought shame and disgrace to his father who

was a good and law-abiding citizen. A friend inquired, How is
the son doing nowadays? Very badly, said the sorrowing
father, worse than ever. I wonder how you can put up with
him, said the friend. If he were my son, I would turn him out
and have nothing more to do with him! Yes, said the father,
and so would I if he were your son. But, you see, he is my son
and not your son. I will hold on to him. I will continue to love
him, hoping and praying that someday he will come to his

Some people take their action figures out of the box to
play. Some keep them in the original packaging, hoping
they will be worth something. Those who do miss out on
the fun of playing with their toys, just as those who
never open their Bibles are missing out on Gods
blessings. We need to open our Bibles and study them
so Gods Word can change our lives.
Bottom Line: Gods Word doesnt belong on the shelf.
We need to open it and read from it daily.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL JUNE 22- 27

The Whole Robertson gang of Duck Dynasty loves the
parables that Jesus told in the Bible. Christ was a
powerful storyteller, and He knew how to get to the
heart and mind of a person with the stories He told!
Faith Commander VBS is filled with these stories of
Jesusas told through the modern day exploits of the
Robertson family. Each day, children will have the
opportunity to learn more about these stories of Jesus
through music, games, arts and crafts, activities, and
more!
