opening match of the tournament. The match held on Thursday, 12 June 2014 between
Brazil and Croatia. Millions of fans were dressed in Brazil's canary yellow, green and blue
home colors, cheering and supporting Brazil. But there was an unexpected silence when
Olic crossed into the box, where Nikica Jelavic took a touch before Marcelo redirected
the ball into his own net to give Croatia a shocking 1-0 lead. But the Brazilian fan didnt
give up supporting their home country. To maintain their enthusiasm and support
power Junior Neymar 29 of Brazil goal and make the score equal to 1-1. That goal just
breakdown the pressure on Brazil but the stress on Brazil is still on as they have to win
the game to preserve their image in front of the world as they are host the Fifa World
cup14. Having played two minutes of added time, the referee brings the first half of
the opening game of Brazil 2014. It's been a fascinating, exciting match, with the hosts
going ahead through an own goal off the right foot of Marcelo, before equalizing
through a long-range left-to-right effort from Neymar that went in off the foot off the
right upright. In the second half both the teams were trying to score a goal to reserve
their winning place. In 66minute Croatia defender booked his troubles, taking a yellow
card for the team with his damage-limiting late lunge to Neymar who was about to
make a goal. The referee gave the plenty to Brazil, who was able to achieve a goal. This
goal was score by Junior Neymar 71 Pen. The crowd was singing songs, waving hands
and flags to hold up Brazil energy. Croatia made another substitution. Nikica Jelavic
trooped off after a fairly quiet evening and was replaced by Ante Rebic, a whelpish
centre-forward who plies his trade with Fiorentina in Serie A. The match was almost
finished, referee gave extra 2minutes when a miracle happen Oscar successfully goal the
last goal and make sure that Brazil win the game. Neymar saved Marcelo and Brazil from
embarrassment by tying the game with an excellent solo goal. It was just rewards for a
Brazil team that was far better than Croatia in the first half. Croatia will be disappointed
not to have held the lead for longer than it did but its defense simply could not
withstand the barrage of yellow shirts that flooded its third of the field after it took the
lead. It was somewhat surprising that Neymar scored with a piece of individual magic, as
Brazil dominated collectively.
