QPIX is proud to announce a new era in its professional script assessments for short film scripts. Through QPIXs
extended networks we can now offer script assessments conducted by working screen writers based in LA.

There are 3 tiers of script assessments available so that you can find an option that suits both your script and your
budgetary needs.



1. Package 1: Basic Short Film Assessment
Notes on plot, structure, characters, point of view, genre and tone and marketing potential
A brief synopsis
Suggestions for improvements to your script
Rates: $125 for QPIX Members and $150 for non-members
Delivery point: via email






2. Package 2: Comprehensive Short Film Assessment
Comprehensive notes on plot, structure, characters, point of view, genre and tone and marketing potential
A full synopsis
Extensive scene notes
Suggestions for improvements to your script.
Rates: $165 for QPIX Members and $185 for non-members
Delivery point: via email

3. Package 3: Advanced Comprehensive Short Film Assessment
A full and comprehensive script edit
1 hour skype workshop session on your script with the script assessor
Rates: $300 for QPIX Members and $365 for non-members
Delivery point: via email and skype

Short Film Script Assessments


Script Submission Guidelines




Submit to: qpix@qpix.org.au

Turn Around: The turn around time for short film script assessments are approximately 3 weeks.

Requirements: Emailed submission of your script (please review the Protecting IP section below).
Registration/Booking Form

Format: Ensure your script layout is similar or the same as the script sample layout document
found at the link below. NB: do not use the scene numbers that are in this example.

Protecting IP: QPIX understands you may still be nervous about sharing your script so we have some
suggestions for how to further protect your script should you like to.
1. Become a member with the Australian Writers Guild and register your script with
them. You will be issued with a reference number to put on your script.
2. Ensure your full name, date, script title, the copyright symbol and your AWG
reference no. (if you have one) are on every page of your script.
3. Send your script to yourself via registered post with information on the envelope
including: script type, title and author. Do not open the envelope but keep it on file.
