I am an ambitious, hardworking and conscientious person who has accumulated many


skills and background knowledge through a variety of positions in the retail sector. I
have excellent communication and interpersonal skills which aids me when dealing with
the public. I work well under pressure, both as a team player and as an individual.
These skills are illustrated perfectly by my employment with Costa Coffee, where I
progressed from team member to supervisor, then Assistant Manager after only 1 year
of employment. During this time I gained vital experience of tasks such as arranging
staff rotas, carrying out performance appraisals, stock management and complaint
handling amongst a great variety of other skills. I feel that this experience together with
a strong ambition to succeed makes me a great asset to any future employer in the retail
trade.
