The Light from Within
What exatly is a star! The sientifi definition of a star is an extremely "right
elestial o"#et that is up held e$ery%here in the uni$erse. Though& the most popular stars
are ele"rities& flashy geometri shapes& the 'un& the engra$ed stats on the (olly%ood
%al) of fame& and e$en the 'tar of *a$id. Ne$ertheless& the elestial star has "een present
sine Earth+s existene. Nati$e Amerians tell of stories that stars are more spiritual than
sientifi. Why are the stars so important! ,s it that a star is a natural ama-ement to our
human pupils! ,t is that stars shine and reate the illumination of the dar) matter of the
uni$erse.
,+$e "een to the su"ur"s of .omeo$ille& ,llinois many times to stay at my ousin+s
house. When dri$ing through the long ommute& , %ould stare at the moon light up the
night. Around the resent sym"ol %ere the spiritual stars. The sene %as transendent
sine the ity is polluted %ith radiant lights that o$er the natural "eams of the stars
presene. Why %as this experiene so surprising to me! Why did the lights& that glo% up
e$ery night "ut are unseen& seem muh different! , %as left %ith a pu--led glare faing
off %ith the lights of the uni$erse.
After a time of ga-ing at the fratured moon and multiplied stars& , felt %hole %ith
the s)y. , %as loo)ing through the uni$erse+s eyes and -ooming in on my loation %ithin
the ar heading to the open area of ,llinois. ,t %as as though , %as loo)ing through e$ery
star in s)y and peering do%n on a human %ho %as filled %ith many questions. , %as the
s)y and the s)y %as ,. ,t felt that the fli)er of lights , %as "eoming %as orresponding
%ith the synapti neurotransmitters that %ere arrying messages of suh sensation. The
aerial $ie% around myself %as almost pith/"la). (o%e$er& , %as su"stituted for a
olletion of stars and itself transformed to one perfet fi$e/sided star. Then& there %as a
refletion of "oth the Earth and the uni$ersal s)y. The moment left me to "elie$e that my
"ody may not "e radiant "ut something %ithin my "ody& and may"e my soul& %as
illuminating #ust as "right as the moon& stars& and e$en the sun.
, a%o)e in the fast mo$ing ar on the high%ay li)e nothing had ourred. ,t %as a
fast re$elation although my onsiene& "ody& and physial t%enty/one gram soul still
remained enlightened %ith the atmosphere. , %as reminded that the stars are still present
%hen the sun and louds o$er the stars %ith their day shift. ,n spite of this& , "elie$e that
#ust li)e stars our human minds& and auras if you are spiritual& al%ays illuminate. We
must learn that %e all ha$e potential of sho%ing our exoti )no%ledge and talents. ,t is
"est to ta)e e$ery opportunity you an to sho% your greatness e$en if you %or) in the
quiet dar)ness that is also filled %ith those trying to shine. We are all made up of the
same hemials& "ut it is our effort and potential "eing used e$ery seond that ma)es us
all illuminate %ith eah other.
