Leoni Meadows

The annual NCC spring
conference will be held June 6-8
in Leoni Meadows. Registration
has almost filled the facility. The
cabins are full and there are just a
few rooms left in the main
building for anyone registering at
the last moment. It is essential that you contact Jacob Risko (NCC
Treasurer) if you wish to reserve one of these last rooms. In addition,
it is necessary that anyone coming only for the day register with
Jacob Risko as well to ensure that meals are provided for you. We
would not want to have to deal with this at the conference place,
especially on the Sabbath.
For those coming for the first time the Leoni Meadows camp is
located at 6100 Leoni Road, Grizzly Flats, California.
This years conference is on the theme of reconciliation. Main
speakers include David Lopez (The Need for Reconciliation), David
Zic (Divine Reconciliation), Iulian Utupanu (Family
Reconciliation), and Jorai Cruz (Interpersonal Reconciliation).
There will also be a baptism. As much free time has been allotted in
the schedule as possible to allow families to enjoy the beautiful
nature of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Plans are being made to allow for the online livestream of the
main presentations using the same online address as the weekly
service from Sacramento service. If this is confirmed we will publish
the online transmission schedule for you in next weeks issue of the
NorCal Reformer.

This week the service will be presented by David Zic under the
title The Greatest Commandment. Last week we examined what
Christ meant when he stated that there was a least commandment
during the sermon on the mount. This week we switch from the least
to the greatest commandment.

In addition, those joining us will be able to see the examination
service for four baptismal candidates at the beginning of the service.
For those attending Sacramento Church in person (not online)
there will be a fellowship lunch this Sabbath. Choir members are
asked to remain after lunch for practice in preparation for the Leoni
Meadows conference.

NCC ExCom Meeting

The NCC Executive Committee met in Rancho Cordova on
Tuesday, May 27. Agenda items included the following:
*finalizing all the remaining details for the upcoming Leoni
Meadows Conference
*preparations for the upcoming NCC delegation session in
September
*financial review of the NCC and establishment of project
priorities to ensure adequate funding for all NCC activities
through the end of the year
*setting the date for the final NCC Council meeting which will set
the agenda for the NCC Session

NCC Delegation Session (First Official Notice)

This is the first official notice to all members of the NCC that the
Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement Northern California
Conference will be holding its biennial delegation session on Sunday,
September 7, 2014 from 8:30am to 4:30pm. All delegates will
receive their credentials from the NCC Secretariat one month prior
to this date. All members of the NCC who are not elected delegates
may also attend the session as observers, but you are asked to
register your attendance in advance with the NCC Secretary.
