22 - 26 September 2014 / International 5 Star Hotel Kuala Lumpur

Workshop 1 (3 days) - Pipe Stress Static Analysis / 22 - 24 September 2014
Workshop 2 (2 days) - Pipe Stress Dynamics Analysis / 25 - 26 September 2014

Amrit Pal Singh (CEng IMechE)- Former Chief Piping Stress

Engineer of Technip, Worley Parson, Fluor, Costain Oil and Gas
Amrit is from Guildford, United Kingdom, and has a total experience of 18 years of diversified
experience working with Multinational companies worldwide. The companies he has worked for including
Technip, Worley Parson, Fluor, Costain Oil and Gas, BP and Agip KCO. Mr. Amrits specialties cover
nearly every aspect of piping design and stress analysis at different stages of Engineering,
construction and operation. He also develops extensive site experience, provides vibration solution, and
handles engineering coordination and held Lead and authority roles for various EPC projects.
His latest experiences include Nuclear decommissioning project in the UK, Lead Pipe Stress Engineer for Kashagan Field Development
Project under Agip KCO, responsible of design and engineering of standard &non-standard pipe supports for critical lines using
FE-Pipe,STAAD. Apart from this, he also managed other projects such as In-Amenas Compression Project for a JV of
BP,Statoil Hydro and the Algerian oil & gas State Company, Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Complex, Booster Stationfor SEIC,
Sakhalin Island and Power Plant Engineering.
Amrit possesses a string of achievements. He has been awarded with SCM Award for Innovation-2001 by Technip for developing
a design procedure to study the effects of six directional Earthquake loads on piping in Refineries and plants with various seismic
combinations. Amrit was also awarded as nominee Jacques Franquelin Award- 2002 for his effort as the same analysis was later
recognised by the Technip corporate office.

If you have more than 8 delegates attending an in-house course, the

savings to your organization can be huge since our corporate in-house
courses are charged by the day, not per delegate, therefore you pay one
rate regardless of the number of people you wish to train (subject to a
maximum class size).
