Students learn and apply the educational uses of Web design. Emphasis is placed
on making website design a teaching and learning tool. Effective design is
accentuated in the course and is assessed by usability tests. Topics included
website development using various web authoring software, design theory, layout,
and review of current Internet sites. Upon completion of the course, the student will
be able to evaluate websites for ease of navigation, uality of design and have
demonstrated their ability to create a fully functional website using web design
software of their choice.
