Love Explodes, Endlessly, From Their

Hearts
(A Poem For The Children of Earth)
Ricardo Saúl LaRosa

Canto 1

I love the children,

All the children
Of our world!
No nation,
No religion,
No philosophy,
No culture,
Just little bitty eyes,
Shinning,
Wondering,
What life is all about,
Speculating what kind of world awaits them,
In whose heart can they trust?
What kind of a world are we leaving them?
Nothing, but greed, war, and destructions,
A world gone mad,
With selfishness,
With violence,
On the edge of extinction,
What have we done?
We have failed them,
Miserably beyond words…

Canto 2

Little minds,
Opened, blank pages of curiosity,

A tiny bundle of joy,

My life,
My world,
My Hope and redeemers!
For I know that in you,
This new generation of little ones,
Are no fools,
You will reject society’s paradigms,
Materialism,
War,
Hunger,
You shall see religions for what they have become,
Hypocritical,
Disempowering dogmas,
Parasitical preachers,
For you shall know them by their fruits…
You shall see science for what it really is,
A pathetic series of unproven theories,
A business and a scam,
Scientist not speaking out; devoid of moral courage…

Canto 3

60,000 plus children dying every day,

Of hunger,
Of preventable diseases,
But this is OK,
Because the are not “our” children,
They are the children of the OTHERS,
From other cultures,
Speaking other languages,
Worshiping Allah,1
Believing in Buddhism,
Or some OTHER pagan gods,
We have the economic means,

We have the scientific knowledge,

We have the military power,
To prevent this man made,
Genocide,
The killing of little, defenseless children,
God’s little angels,
With dreams in their crying hearts,
A ray of hope in their eyes,
Their dreams and life denied,
Why?

Canto 4

Who is to blame for this madness?

We are all to blame,
Directly, indirectly, and inadvertently,
This poet is to blame, too,
For I never spoke out,
Against this horrific injustice,
Thinking what can I do,
I am only one person,
I did not use the talents,
That Providence has bestowed upon me,
To protest,
On behalf of the little ones,
Who could not protest for themselves,
This poet just cried,
And immersed himself in poetry,
But the pain was unbearable,
This poet went into exile,
To the moon,
As I sat on the moon,
Gazing back on Earth,
I cried hysterically,
Invoking the Great Spirit of the universe…

Canto 5

On the moon appeared a sentient being,

Invisible to these mortal eyes,
Who spoke to me telepathically,
Placed me in a trance,
Showed me other planes,
Answer most of my questions,
The questions that were not answered,
The being whom I called Muse,2
Said that I was not ready yet,
To know the answers,
Muse showed me many wonderful visions,
I was shown the conquest of Love over Hate,
Of Love over War,
Of Love over Evil,
In all its manifestations,
How the Great Spirit,
Has proclaimed,
The Seven Powers of the universe,
The Council of the Elders,
Into action:
A Healing and Love for Earth,
Godspeed…

Canto 6

My last days on the moon,

Were spent fasting,
In contemplation and introspection,
Developing my Third Eye,
I was shown the proper way to pray,
And I prayed endlessly,
Not for myself,
For OTHERS,

I was explained that I have no enemies,

Although some may consider me their enemy,
Because of their ignorance,
And envy,
I prayed for them,
For their loved ones,
I prayed,
That the Great Spirit would touch their hearts,
As my heart has been touched,
With Love,
I prayed for them,
A thousand blessings,
And a life filled with Love and Peace,
Godspeed…

Canto 7

Before I left the moon,

The Muse opened my spiritual vision,
Standing in front of me,
Were the spirits of the millions of children,
That had died on Earth,
Unnecessarily,
They were happy,
They were dancing,
They were singing,
Love explodes,
Endlessly,
From their hearts,
This poet was wordless,
I fell on my knees,
Crying of happiness,
The greatest joy ever in my life!
I felt their little hands,
They hugged me,
They told me that they are happy,

Awaiting their rebirth,

Again, on Earth,
They told me that they have nothing…

Canto 8

But a great Love,

For those who caused their bodily deaths,
That in their hearts,
Only Love dwells,
That they pray for their tormentors,
That they pray for those now suffering,
That they have felt my heart,
And they prayed for me too,
I raised my hands,
To the heavens,
Giving thanks for this wonderful moment,
Spending time with the little ones,
We danced together,
With a happiness,
I have never known in my life,
They build me an astral-ship,
Made of diamonds, emerald, gold, silver,
And many precious stones not found on Earth,
I felted millions of little hands upon head,
As they gave me their blessings,
As a host of little angels,
Shouted my countdown…
