Checking data on OSS :

Once data is available on OSS in Users home directory, copy it to OSS path :
/ var/opt/ericsson/sgw/outputfiles/asn1/apg_sts/MGBSC29

Example :
root@tzoss01:/home/anjain# root@tzoss01:/home/anjain# ls l
C20140220.2100-20140220.2200_MP1000
C20140220.2100-20140220.2200_MP1001
C20140220.2100-20140220.2200_MP1002
bash: root@tzoss01:/home/anjain#:

root@tzoss01:/home/anjain# cp -p C20140220.2100-20140220.2200_MP1001
C20140220.2100-20140220.2200_MGBSC29:1001

Then copy data to ENIQ path :
root@tzoss01://var/opt/ericsson/sgw/outputfiles/asn1/apg_sts/MGBSC29# cp -p C20140217.0900-
20140217.1000_MGBSC29:1006 /ossrc/data/pmMediation/pmData/bsc-apg/dir1/
Checking data on ENIQ

1.1 Admin UI (Admin Tool)
This is the web based interface from which most of the Administrative activity can
be done. Figure 1 is the snapshot of the login screen for this tool.
To start Admin UI login to any of the windows server.
Open Web browser, Admin UI supports Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla-
based browsers.
Navigate to http://YourLoaderServerIP:8080/adminui/, where YourLoaderServerIP
is the IP address of the ENIQ Server.
Enter credentials and click on Login.

1.1.1 Checking System Status
Administrator should check System status on daily basis. To check the system status
either login into Admin UI or into ENIQ system by SSH tool (Putty Secure CRT).
Both methods are described below:

Figure 2: Checking System Status

1.1.2 Checking Data Loading
Administrator needs to check data loading for every measurement; Admin UI is used
to view data loading status. Figure 5 is the snapshot which shows the data loading
status corresponding to every measurement. To check data loading status, Follow the
below steps:
S
.
N
o
Tab Information On
1
.
Host Information It gives status about the
server hardware.
2
.
ENIQ DWH It gives the status about
the database which
stores the PM raw data.
3
.
ENIQ REP It gives the database
status in which ENIQ
configuration data is
stored.
4
.
Engine It gives ENIQ engine
status.
5
.
Scheduler It gives the ENIQ
scheduler status which
trigger the sets
execution
In Admin UI click Show Loading link which is highlighted in red color in Figure 5.
Select date, Techpack and filter shown in different color in Figure 4.
Click Get information.
Check the loading status.
Corrective Action: If data is not loaded for 24 hrs then follow the Section 6.2.8.

1.1.3 Data Loading Status Color Description

Status Significance
Loaded Data is Loaded into database.
Not Loaded Data is not loaded yet into database
Check Failed Monitoring rule threshold were not met
Hole Data is not loaded within time.
Calculating ENIQ is calculating the number of rows that were loaded.

1.1.4 Checking Aggregation Status
Administrator should check aggregation status on the daily basis. Data Aggregation
is done on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Figure 7, 8 and 9 are the snapshots of the aggregation status .To check aggregation
status follow the given below steps:
In Admin UI, click Show Aggregations link which is highlighted by red colored
circle in Figure 7.
Select date and Techpack.
Click Get Information.

Corrective Action: If there is any error in aggregation (day, week, month) then
inform the solution support team so that corrective actions can be taken.

1.1.5 Data Re aggregation
Administrator need to re-aggregate data when one of the given below situation
occurs:
PM data arrived late to ENIQ system.
Server was down because of which aggregation didnt happen.
To re aggregate data follow the given below steps.
In Admin UI, click Re aggregation.
Select the time level, start time, end time, and technology package.
Click on List button which is highlighted in yellow color in Figure 17; to get a list of
measurement types.
Select the measurement types to be re aggregated and click Aggregate.
After re aggregation whole data will be used from RAW table and will be inserted
into aggregated table.

.
LATE_DATA The measurement type has been aggregated, but
data has been loaded to the database after the
aggregation.
6
.
CHECK_FAILED Monitoring rule thresholds were not met.
8
.
ERROR Unrecoverable error during aggregation.
9
.
BLOCKED Aggregation was prevented by gatekeeper to avoid
aggregation conflicts. Aggregation will be tried
again on the next execution of automatic
aggregation.
