Locknuts
M ateri al: Brass
Locknuts are used to secure cable glands to th e eq uipment or to th e gland plate. Each cable
gland ki t w ill have one lock nut w ith thread size suiting th e cable entry thread ofth e gland .
It is highly recommended to use brass locknut with gland fo r all the atm ospheri c conditi ons.
Sizes available fro m 20 mm to 75 mm .

Earth Tags
M ateri al : Brass
Earth tags are installed between th e cable gland and th e equipment to provide earth continuity
asspecifiedinBS6 121 Part S, 1993.
Sizes available fro m 20 mm to 75 mm .

M ateri al: PVC
PVC Shro uds are recommended to be used w ith each cable gland to prov ide additional
ingress protectio n. PVC shro uds also help in preventing accumulati on of dirt, o il etc. on th e
cable gland and also prevents water seeping in . PVC Shrouds are denoted by gland reference
number and are compatibl e w ith each glands size.
