R.11011/549/2014-IFC dtd. 21-04-2014). ACopy ofthis reference has been received in
this Directorate through the Under Secretary (FS), Mlo I&B vide his I.D.No. 1-
11011/354/2014-MUC dtd.23-04-2014forsupplyifrequisiteinformationinthe matterto
you.
2. In this regard it is stated that our campaign wing has intimated that records
pertaining to the campaigns (i) India Shining & (ii) Mera Bharat Mahan are no,longer
available with it. Computerization of the records was done from 2007 onwards.
However, they have further confirmed that DAVP has not run campaign called 'Mera
Bharat Mahan'. In view of the above, Accounts wing is not in a position to make
availabledetailsin respectofexpenditureincurredon 'Indiashining' campaignsinceitis
not known to accounts wing if this campaign was an exclusive one and fund was
exclusively earmarked for this campaign. If this campaign was running in a mixed
mannerwithothercampaigns, then unless R.O. details are made availableto Accounts
wing, it may not be in a position to provide information. The work, however, could be
voluminous- one because at that time records in Accounts wing also were
maintainedmanually.
