Client Requirements
Client is a leading provider of medical imaging applica-
tions including PACS, RIS, Data Acquisition and Viewing
workbenches. Client intends to make many of its applica-
tions compliant with multiple IHE integration proles and
needed help with prioritization and timely participation in
the HIMSS Connectathon. Client engaged CitiusTech and
its partner OTech to:
Help identify and prioritize IHE profles for compliance
Organize and conduct unit and integration testing to
ensure participation in HIMSS Connectathon
Help identify and rectify key gaps in functionality

CitiusTech Solution

The CitiusTech ICON (Ihe CONformance) specialist team
worked with the client throughout the IHE conformance
project - from prioritization and planning to test execution,
gap identication, remediation and Connectathon results
submission. In addition, CitiusTech designed and devel-
oped enhancements that enabled the client applications
to be compliant with the IHE-ATNA prole.
IHE Compliance Prioritization
The ICON team reviewed clients existing applications,
customer workow proles and development roadmap.
The team then helped prioritize individual proles for com-
pliance that best matched clients business needs to avail-
able resources. The prioritization matrix (Figure 1) iden-
tied specic actors and proles for participation in the
HIMSS Connectathon.
Case Study: IHE Workow and Compliance Testing for Leading HIT Vendor
Conformance Testing
The ICON team managed the clients IHE conformance
testing and results submission process.
Setup the test platform (Figure 2)
Conducted testing of all required test cases
Identied, analyzed and reported test results including
failures
Validate the fxes
Submitted the test results to the Connectathon kudu
system
Remediation IHE ATNA Prole
The clients applications had several gaps that needed
remediation for compliance with the IHE ATNA prole.
CitiusTech redesigned and enhanced the Clients RIS
application to run as a secure node and to generate ATNA
compliant audit messages for all necessary events.
