Distridutive property is when you borrow a number
ans give to the numbers in the parentheses
Example:

12+15=27

ASSOCIATIVE PROPERTY OF ADDITION
& MULTIPLICATION
The associative property states that you can add or
multiply regardless of how the numbers are grouped.
Example:
(8+4)+6= 8+(4+6)

COMMUTATIVE PROPERTY OF
ADDITION/MULTIPLICATION
It does not matte the oder of the number the answer
is always the same. Example:
8+7+3=7+3+8

HOW TO SOLVE AN
EQUATION
To answer the equation 4(7x-3)+2x you must follow
these steps.
1. First you must use the distributive property to make
the problem easier by multiplying 4 to 7x and 3 and then
bring the subtraction sign down.
2. Combine the 2 numbers that have the variable x
behind them to make it an unsovleable equation and
then you are done.

HOW TO SOLVE AN
EQUATION
To answer the equation 7x-10-9x=-13 these are the
steps you must take.
1. First you can subtract 9x from 7x to make you
problem a two step equation.
2. Then you must add 10 to the answer -13 to get the
side balanced and to start issolating the variable.
3. Next you must divid seven to the answer to get the
equivalent to x.

HOW TO SOLVE AN
EQUATION
To solve the equation 5x/6+x/3-1/2=11/6 these are
the steps you must take.
1. First you must nd LCM of all the denominators
and cross multiply them by that number making them
whole numbers.
2. Then combine the variables so it is a two step
equation.
3. Next add one to the answer and after that multiply
the number with the variable x behind it by the
answer and then you will have the answer.

these are the steps you must take.
1. First you must divid negative from 2 and then what
is left of the problem is you answer.

When you graph an inequality and the circle is closed
it mean that it the number part of the solution set
meaning that in that answer that number is one on
the possible options to be eqaul to the other. If the
circle is open then it is not part of the solution set.
