Thors YPbPr all in one devices encoding and video distribution platform for broadcast and professional AV systems.

The system is based on a universal multiplex-

ing chassis with two input bays. Thor offers a variety of encoding cards for this platform including YPbPr, HDMI, dual HDMI, HD-SDI, as well as SD analog cards.
The entire system is managed through an integrated web server. All configuration settings and parameters can be controlled through the web interface or the front
panel LCD display. Parameters for each channel can be set independently; such as bit rate, encoding level, and PID mapping. After encoding, the chassis multiplexes
the signals from all inputs and distributes them in three useful formats. The QAM-IP platform outputs programming as a modulated RF television channel, an IPTV
multicast or unicast feed, and a DVB-ASI broadcast transport stream simultaneously. All three outputs are available continuously. The RF modulator can be set to
any frequency, and 8VSB is available in addition to QAM. The IPTV output is industry standard UDP and is easy to configure for use with media server software or
as a stand alone multicast program. DVB-ASI is a broadcast protocol used for transport or contribution of digital video. In addition to ASI output, the chassis also
has an ASI input that feeds into the units main multiplexer. This allows an externally created ASI signal to be added to the output programming. This broad feature
set allows a Thors YPbPr system to dramatically reduce rack space and total cost.
