Crochet cotton size 30: 1 (500-yd) ball
Size 10 steel crochet hook
Spray starch

Rnd 1: Ch 10, join with sl st to form
ring, ch 3, 23 dc in ring, join with sl st
in top of ch-3. (24 dc counting ch-3)
Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in same place, *ch 5,
skip 1 dc, sc in next dc, rep from *
around, end with ch 2, join with dc in
first sc.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in lp just made, *ch 5,
hold back on hook last lp of each tr,
make 3 tr in next lp, thread over and
through all 4 lps on hook (3-tr-cl), [ch
3, 3-tr-cl in same lp] twice, ch 5, sc in
next lp, rep from * around, end last
rep with ch 2, join with dc in first sc.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in lp just made, ch 5,
sc in next lp, *ch 5, [3-tr-cl, ch 3]
twice in next ch-3 lp, [3-tr-cl, ch 3, 3-
