My Favorite Entertainment Programme

Watching TV is a great source of entertainment. I see different

programmes of different channels. The most popular TV programmes are
dramas, songs, dances, films, games and sports etc. There are also some
instructive programmes on the television. These generally cover different
branches of knowledge. Among all the programmes, my favorite TV programme
is the documentary on animal life. The name of the programme is animal planet.
It is telecasted on every Saturday at 6 p.m. on TV. Animals are the main
performers in this programme. I have thirst for knowing about animal life from
my boyhood. I can learn many things about animal life from this programme.
That is why, I like this programme most.

MOST VISITED HILL STATION OF PAKISTAN
Pakistan blessed with a lot of Hill stations. People move to Hill
stations due to extreme heat of hot areas like Punjab and Sindh provinces
of Pakistan. All the hill stations of Pakistan are being visited by the people
with keen interest. However, among others Murree is a very popular hill
station and summer resort amongst locals. It is located in Punjab. Murree
is famous for its pine and oak covered mountains. A huge rush can be
seen there in summer and winter also. In summers on clear day view of
Kashmir peaks is possible from Murree. People who come to Murree also
visit Patriata which is also called New Murree and Ayubia. Patriata and
Ayubia are famous hill stations for their scenic beauty and Chair lift which
brings us top of the lush green peak. Murree is also a house of numerous
species of animals. Leopards, Monkeys, wild boar, foxes, and various
species of birds can be seen here.
Our moral values today
It would not be out of place to say that our moral values are slowly disappearing
from our lives. Those days are gone when people were keen to help needy persons of
our society. Today if a person even meets any serious accident, no one takes the risk
to take him to the hospital, but first his luggage or goods get robbed.
Moral values give us sense of relief and pleasure. Moral values are not one
sided but give immense pleasure to those who exercise them and those for whom
exercised. Helping a blind man to cross the road, giving food to the hungry, sharing
one's grief etc. are examples of moral values.
We must enrich our moral values. It increases love, affection and mutual
understanding between people. This shows the manners and quality of our
background. Live for others will not minimize your ego but it will increase the love,
respect, and personality for you in others heart.

Scientific Inventions and Life today
Now a day we live in the age of science. Various inventions and discoveries of
science have greatly added to the comforts of life. In all walks of life man has made
wonderful progress. It has given us very swift means of communication e.g. transport,
telegraph, telephone and wireless. The radio and television has made the dull evenings
at home bright. One can hear news, dialogues and speeches from the distant parts of
the world while sitting at home.
Electricity perhaps is the greatest gift of science. Medical science has advanced
a good deal. It helps the doctors to locate the disease.. Science has entered our life so
powerfully that we have started thinking in a scientific way. The age of superstitious
beliefs is over. Science has given man deadly weapons. The long-range guns,
poisonous gases, atom-bombs and many other destructive weapons of warfare have
made the life of man most insecure another war and the whole world will be destroyed
in a minute by nuclear weapons.
