All students will participate in a Project Based Learning experience, using instruction across
the content areas of science, language arts, social studies, and math.
The goal addresses the divisions goal of student achievement and academic excellence for all
students.
Our second grade is implementing Project Based Learning in the 2013-2014 school year. This goal
promotes student academic progress by implementing grade level SOL objectives in the above
stated content areas.
1. Entry Event using rich literature
2. Driving Questions to promote critical thinking
