HDB ROOM RENTAL AGREEMENT

otherwise part possession of the +lat or any part thereof without the written consent of the
Landlord$
f! To peacea*ly and <uietly at the expiration of the tenancy delier up to the Landlord the &oom
in li(e condition as if the same were deliered to the Tenant at the commencement of this

h! To permit persons with written authority from the Landlord or the Landlord>s agents during

2! To replace electric *ul*s) fluorescent tu*es and any other expenda*le items in the &oom
throughout the term of this tenancy and to *e responsi*le for all minor repairs not exceeding

n! Not to allow any isitor into the +lat without prior notification and approal *y Landlord$
o! To maintain the cleanliness of the common room) common *athroom) laundry area after
usage or as per cleaning schedule as per arranged with Landlord$
p! To *orne all expenses such as fines *y releant authorities caused *y fault of tenants)
including *ut not limited to high5rise (iller litter) *reeding of mos<uitoes) etc@

a! To pay all present and future rates) assessments and outgoings in respect of the +lat other
than those agreed to *e paid *y the Tenant$
*! That the Tenant paying the rent here*y resered and o*sering and performing the seeral
coenants and stipulations of the Tenant>s part herein contained shall peacefully and <uietly
hold and en2oyed possession of the &oom during the term here*y created without any
interruption *y the Landlord or any person or person lawfully claiming under or in trust for
the Landlord$
c! To proide 3.5days defectie5free period from the start of this agreement) and to rectify and
replace defectie fixtures and fittings found during this 3.5days period proided the defect is
not caused due to the negligence on part of tenant$

a! 9f the rent here*y resered or any part thereof shall *e unpaid for seen (D! days after
*ecoming paya*le (whether formally demanded or not! 7& if any coenants or stipulations on
the Tenant>s part herein contained shall not *e performed 7& if any time the Tenant shall
*ecome *an(rupt then and in any of the said cases it shall *e lawful for the Landlord at any
time hereafter to re5enter and re5possess the &oom or any thereof and thereupon this
"greement shall a*solutely cease and determine *ut without pre2udice to the right of action of
the Landlord in respect of any *reach of the Tenant>s coenants herein contained$
*! This "greement may *e terminated upon the occurrence of any one or more of the following
eents:
i$ if monthly &ent or any part thereof shall *e unpaid seven (7 !"#s after *ecoming
paya*le (whether formally demanded or not!E or
ii$ if the Tenant shall omit to perform or o*sere any condition of this "greementE or
iii$ the %ousing and #eelopment Board (%#B! reo(es or withdraws its consent to the
su*letting$
