The low-level code is the lowest level at which the material appears in a bill of material.
The low-level code controls the seuence of the planning run - the system plans the materials with the
low-level code ! first and then those with low-level code ", and so on.

The planning file entry contains the following information:
the low-level code of the material
whether the change refers to an element within the planning period
whether the #$M has to be re-e%ploded

To improve the performance of the planning run, you can limit the planning hori&on. This means that the
system will only create receipt elements for the reuirements that lie in the planning hori&on.
'ote that as time passes, reuirements that are not yet covered by receipts may move into the planning
time fence. If no other changes relevant to planning occur, these reuirements will not be covered until
you carry out a planning run over the total time a%is using the control indicator '(T)*. Therefore, you
should carry out this planning run at regular intervals.
