Explosion Proof Type Control Boxes
1) These control boxes are designed so that they can be
used safety in hazardous areas of Zone 1 and 2.
2) Type of protection : Exde II CT5. These control boxes
can be used in hydrogen, acetylene and carbon disulfide
gas atmospheres.
3) Boxes have a dustproof and jet-proof structure which
meets the requirements of IEC standards, Degree of
protection IP65.
4) Boxes are made of stainless steel with high corrosion
and weather resistance so they can safely be used
outdoors.
5) Their high-luminance LED pilot lamps are bright and
highly visible and guarantee a long life without the
need for maintenance.
6) The large pushbutton switches allow easy operation.
7) The hinged box provides easy access for wire connec-
tion work or maintenance.

Represents the ameproof type.
1. Catalog number of the control box and specifcation of units housed
2. The standard cable entry of wall-mounted type models is equipped with conduit socket. For cable
connection, the cable gland is supplied. In this case, let us know the outside diameter of the cable you
use and the specifcation of the protective tube.
3. The stand type has a gasket type cable entry through which only one wire can be led in. Let us know
the outside diameter of the cable you use. The maximum allowable cable outside diameter is 20 mm.
4. Cable entry of wall-mounted type
Combination of 1-5 units:max. two PF1 entries (one upper and one lower)
Combination of 6 units:max. four PF1 entries (two upper and two lower)

Precautions in cable connection
Since the control box does not house any terminal block,
connect the lead wire directly to the terminal of each unit to
be housed.
For combinations of units other than standard, consult us.
A control box with a junction terminal block in which
standard wire connection between each unit and the terminal
block is made is also available upon request.
Installation
Carry out installation according to the IEC standards.
For Division 1 areas, use cables or flameproof metallic
conduits for wiring. For Zone 2 areas, use cables or increased
safety metallic conduits. With metallic conduits, apply
vertical or flexible type sealing fitting close to the control
box entries.
For the anchor bolts for the stand type, use commercially
availabale bolts.
