Instruct the donor to not place anything in the mouth including
food, drink, gum or tobacco products for at least 10 minutes pri-
or to collection. Remove OrAlert from foil package and sponge
from plastic wrap. Insert sponge end of collector into mouth.
A negative test is indicated by
showing a line in the control
(C) and test (T) region for each
designated drug (Even a faint line
indicates a negative result, do
not compare intensity of lines). A
presumptive positive is indicated
by showing a line in the control
(C) region but not the test (T)
region for each designated drug.
An invalid test is indicated by the
absence of the control line (C) re-
gardless of the test (T) line. If this
happens another test is required.
Wait approximately 9 minutes
before reading results.
Insert collector into device as
shown. Push collector down into
chamber. Turn collector clock-
wise to lock into chamber. Wait
one minute. Rotate collection
chamber 90 degrees counter-
clockwise.
