and :ither in the afternoon. therefore to recite this attribute at this time one has %reat ho&e
of increasin% ones sustenance"
4"(AA JA##AAR+ is to be read after the Asar Salah. it is from the Asmaae Jalaali$$ah
-ver$ &o:erful/ and is an 8sme Qehri" The time of Asar is :hen iblees calls a meetin% on
the surface of the ocean :ith %reat &ride and sho:. :here all the sha$aateen %ather to
discuss :a$s in :hich to deceive and destro$ mankind" *ver$ Human has an individual
sha$taan :ho attends this meetin% and it is here :here it is decided bet:een the
sha$taans that $ou :ill do this and i :ill do that"
Therefore this is the time to remember Allah Almi%ht$ :ith this name so that his :rath be
on these sha$ateen and his &rotection be on us from their mischief"
6"(AA SATTAAR+ is to be read after Ma%hrib Salah once the sun has set. and darkness
sets" This is the time :hen animals of &re$. snakes. thieves. robbers and other harms are
out and about" 5alamities and catastro&hes s:irl around in the darkness. hence the
meanin% of recitin% this su&&lication is to call on the Almi%ht$ to &rotect and safe%uard us
from all these dan%ers" 0urthermore mankind tends to commit more sins durin% the ni%ht.
:hich is :h$ one should seek his &rotection at the be%innin% of the ni%ht so that :e are
veiled from this and :e remain steadfast "
7" (AA GHA0AAR+ is to be read after 8sha Salah. the sins committed b$ mankind durin%
the da$ for :hich he is &unishable. The Merc$ of Allah Almi%ht$ &revents the 3iraaman
3aatibeen - Honourable recorders / from recordin% these until one %oes to slee& :ithout
re&entin% and askin% for for%iveness"
8f one asks for for%iveness and re&ents for his sins before slee&in% i"e b$ recitin% (aa
Ghafaaru Allah Almi%ht$ :ill erase these from his book of bad deeds"
This is also one of the reasons :e have been instructed to avoid :orldl$ conversation after
the 8sha <ra$er. and also to dela$ 8sha for a &art of the ni%ht is better so that one can slee&
immediatel$ after &erformin% 8sha Salah"
The benefits of re&entin% cannot be described "8t is stated in a Hadith Shareef the one :ho
re&ents after sinnin% it is like he has not committed that sin at all" - Sunan ibn Maa1ah

,ord' He is indeed Most 0or%ivin%"

@?ooh AB2C EAnd :ill aid $ou :ith :ealth and sons. and :ill create %ardens for $ou and
cause rivers to flo: for $ou"F

8maam +l Aarifeen Sa$$iduna Hassan #asri Radi Allahu Anhu :as a&&roached b$ a %rou&
of &eo&le at the time of famine to :hich the %reat 8mam &rescribed Re&entance in
abundance. one com&lained of difficult$ :ith finances and dail$ life to :hich he a%ain
&rescribed re&entance :ith abundance" Another com&lained re%ardin% his cro&s :itherin%
and dr$in% and his orchards dr$in% u&. to :hich he :as also %iven the :azifa of
re&entance" After this the final >uestioner asked re%ardin% him not havin% an$ children he
also :as %iven the :azifa of re&entin% and be%%in% for for%iveness. due to isti%hfar all
these &eo&le :ere successful in their needs"
