Saw large plots of barren land. Heard that before the tsunami they were lined with shops and houses.
Astonished by the dark past because I thought that they were farmlands and was still anticipating in my
mind what a nice scenery it would become when the land are covered with plants during summer.
Noticed a building that had a weird structure, only to realize that upon closer examination it is a toppled
building. Even though I have already heard of the strong impact of the tsunami, my heart still could not
help but ache as I thought of the speed and force at which the tsunami stroke the building
The primary school which many of the school children died. The fragility of life. The lesson that we
should treasure our lives despite its imperfection in our eyes
