EXPERIENCE:
International Automotive Components-North America (formally Lear Corporation), Fremont, Ohio (May 2000 – January 2009)
Tier 1 supplier of plastic blow molded parts for the automotive industry. Customers include GM, Chrysler, Ford, Toyota, and
Nissan.
QUALITY SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE / QUALITY ENGINEER (Dec. 2005 –Jan. 2009):
Served as the company’s Management Representative ensuring the processes needed for the Quality Management System are
established, implemented and maintained, reporting to top management on the performance of the Quality Management
System and any need for improvement. (Position eliminated as of January 30, 2009 as the result of the current economic
business condition in the automotive industry.)
Administered, audited, and improved the Quality System to qualify for and maintain certification according to
ISO/TS16949 requirements and assists with ISO14001 compliance.
Developed and administered, through document control reviews and signoff of written Procedures, Policies, SOPs,
GMPs, Work Instructions, Forms, Templates, and Deviations.
Responsible for all document control in accordance with TS16949 and ISO14001 ensuring compliance with all
company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations, and maintaining QA files and archives.
Strong problem solving, analytical, and customer communication skills to ensure proactive and timely corrective /
preventative actions including the ability to lead root cause analysis and generate clear concise responses.
Monitored audits to ensure they are completed on schedule, evaluating adequacy of corrective action commitments,
issuing audit close letters and maintaining complete files on each audit.
Led internal audits in accordance with ISO/TS16949 coordinating audit documentation and personnel, advising
management regarding issues brought forward during the audit, coordinating and preparing the corrective action plan
and follow-up on corrective action commitments and performing quality investigations.
Experience with FMEA (Failure Modes Effect Analysis), 8D (Standard Classification of Root Cause Analysis), PPAP
(Purchase Part Approval Process) and ISO-9001/14001and TS16949.
Administered management review program and corrective action status.
Provided new hire orientation on general Quality System training.
Trained and ensured that any continuous improvements to procedures and processes are understood and implemented.
Strong communication and facilitation skills using, verbal, written and electronic means.
Self driven, motivator of others, and detail oriented approach to all assignments.
Functioned as the Quality Manager and Quality Supervisor as needed in their absence, as well as Quality Engineer
responsible for PPAP approvals as needed.
