Providesoptimumprocurementsolutionsbasedonbestbusinesspracticesagainsttime,costandquality.
4.PRIMARYJOBPURPOSE
Thisroleistoimplementstrategiestoprocureanddeliverthelowestcostoffuelandfuelproducts.Itwillinvolvenegotiationofprices,
termsandconditionstoensurethecompanysbestcontractualandcommercialpositionismaintained.Ensuregoodworking
relationshipswithvendorsandsuppliersthroughoutallSupremeoperatinglocations.

6.KEYPOSITIONACCOUNTABILITIES
TheFuelsProcurementSpecialistisresponsibleandaccountablefor(butnotlimitedto)thefollowing:
Planningandexecutionofglobalpurchaseoffuel,throughmanagingandleadingnegotiation,tendering,pricingfeasibility,analysis,and
contractingforallpetroleumsupplyarrangements(andassociatedproducts)globallyandinassignedareasofresponsibility,namelyAfrica,
Asia,andtheMiddleEast.
Providemarketintelligenceknowledgeandadviceindevelopmentoffuelpriceforecasts,markettrends,supplyalternatives,internationalsupply
issuesandotherbudgetingandplanninginareasasrequired.
Undertakespecificfeasibilitystudiesandbusinesscasedevelopmentasrequiredanddirected.Theseinclude,butarenotlimitedtoalternative
supplierstoincreaseanddiversifysupplysources.
Analysisoffuelusagetrendswithinsalesregionswithanaimtoshapingfuturestorage,infrastructure,andsupplyplanning.
Implementingstrategiestodeliverthelowesttotalcostofownershipforacquisitionandtheprovisionofongoingsolutionstofuelsupplychain
challengestomeetorexceedclientexpectations.
Ensurethatsourcingprequalificationandevaluationofsuppliersiscarriedoutaspercompanypolicies/standardswhilstadheringtoethics.
ResponsibleforobtainingquotationsandproposalsfromapprovedvendorsinUAEandAfghanistanandothercountriesofoperations
Negotiatecontractpricesandtermsandconditionstoensurecompaniesbestcontractualandcommercialpositionisattained
Undertakeprocurementfinancialanalysis/evaluationsandpurchasingeconomics.
WorkcloselywiththeFinancedepartmentforthedrafting/issuingPurchaseOrdersandsupplierpaymentinanaccurateandtimelymanner.
Reportsanddocumentsallcostsavingsandreviewssignificantcostescalationstomanagementandprocurement.Assimilatesandinterpret
varioussourcesofdataandproviderecommendations
ContributetoorganizationalperformancethroughcontinuousimprovementofbranchKPIsintheFuelsmanagementcockpit.
ParticipateandprovideinputintoweeklyDemandandSupplyplanning
MaintainallassignedFuelsprocurementandpurchasingprocessesandcontractsinaccordancewithQHSEpoliciesandguidelines.
Ensuresupplydocumentationfromassignedsuppliersisinlinewithnationalandregionallegalandregulatoryrequirements.
LiaisonwiththeSupremeFuelsCustomsManagertoensureforesightinDiplomaticNote,andExemptionCertificateadministrationandissue.
Liaisonandmaintainkeysupplierrelationshipsandthirdpartyinspectorsofassignedsuppliers.
Monitoringperformanceandrelationshipmanagementoffuelsvendorsandsuppliers
PerformotherdutiesasrequestedbytheDirectorofSupplyChain
