WEB COUNSELING PROCEDURE

I PREAMBLE
The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education is conducting admission to the
Candidates into various Engineering and Pharmacy Courses who passed Intermediate or
its Equivalent and qualified in EAMCET Engineering Agriculture and Medicine Common
Entrance Test!"
II FUTURE PROSPECTS
Candidates after acquiring degree have opportunity to #oin in various industries and can
also acquire higher qualifications $y #oining various Post%graduate courses in engineering
and technology directly"
III RATIONALE OF WEB COUNSELING
The process of inviting the qualified candidates of EAMCET and allotting a seat as per their
option is &nown as Counseling" Till last year candidate used to attend in any one of the '
Counseling Centres for securing a seat in a college" In this process( candidates have to
travel all the way to report at any one of the counseling centres more than once" )ut in the
*e$ Counseling candidates can select a college and a Course from a nearest Internet
Center"
IV WHAT IS WEB COUNSELING
+or the Convenience of the Candidates from the academic year ,--.%/-( government have
decided to adopt a total we$ $ased counseling procedure where candidate can e0ercise
options" that is can select a college and course intend to study through internet centre or
internet facility availa$le at their residence and where such facility is not availa$le candidate
can approach any one of the help line centres nearer to them"
V STAGES OF WEB COUNSELING
/" Issue of 1otification2 The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education will issue a
notification during first wee& of May ,-/- in news papers indicating the dates and ran&s of
the candidates to $e attended for 3egistration( 4erification of Certificates and Schedule for
E0ercising options and also notify the list of Help%line Centres" Candidates who fail to report
for Certificates verification will not $e considered for allotment of seats in any of the
colleges"

Candidates" )ased on the Course Codes and College Codes( Candidates have to write
College 1ame and Courses for which they intend to #oin and it is advice to prepare such
lists in consultation with their parents and friends" +rom out of that list Candidate has to
prioriti<e and write Priority 1um$er in the )lan& 8ption +orm which is essential to enter the
options on the we$" Candidates can e0ercise any num$er of options and can ta&e print out
if they desire" Help%;ine Centres shall furnish the detailed procedure of E0ercising 8ptions"
=" Modification of 8ptions and +ree<ing2 If the Candidate is not satisfied with the 8ptions
e0ercised( he can modify the options on the dates notified $y the authority and this is final
opportunity for e0ercising options"

Candidates have to down load the allotment order"
?" Payment of Seats @ 3eporting at College2 Candidates with download allotment order
have to remit the fee in one of the designated $an&s and o$tain a receipt" Candidate with
allotment order and +ee receipts have to report at the 3espective colleges where the Seat
is allotted within the dates mentioned" If Candidates fails to report on the dates stipulated
the allotment stands cancelled and candidate have no claim further on the allotment"
