Engine Identification

The 6 Cylinder Caterpillar diesel engines are availabel for

many class 6-8 truck, bus, vocational, and industrial applica-
tions. The long block engines are available for years 1994
and up for the 3116, 3126, and C7 families. The complete
drop-in engines are in development, so call for pricing and
availability.
Before calling to request price and availability, please gather
the following information from the engine data tag on the
valve cover:

About DSGs Caterpillar Engines
DSG replaces 100% of pistons, rings, bearings, bushings,
gaskets & seals.
DSG uses one-piece aluminum pistons or two-piece articu-
lated cast steel pistons depending upon application.
All heads get new valves and are vacuum tested to ensure
the quality of the valve job. All heads are pressure teeted
and upgraded to the latest style valve seal.
DSG grinds 100% of camshafts lobes.
All connecting rods are de-magnetized.
Core plugs are 100% stainless steel to avoid corrosion.
Blocks, heads and crankshafts are 100% magnaflux tested
to avoid cracked components.
Connecting rodshave new bushings installed and both
large and small end are remachined to OEM specifications.
Cranshaft is checked for size, reground, if necessary and
polished to OEM specifications.
The parties agree that the implied warranties that are set out in the Sale of Goods Act, are excluded and shall not apply to goods sold or services supplied. The parties also agrees that only the warranty expressly provided by DSG Canada or Saskatoon Diesel Services Ltd. shall apply to the goods sold or
services provided. The purchaser or his agent by entering into this transaction acknowledges that he/she has read this agreement and warranty disclaimers herein and also acknowledges that this agreement comprised the entire agreement between the parties and that there are no antecedent or
extrinsic representation or collateral agreements that terms are strictly net 30 days. Warranty is set out in the terms and conditions of sale above.
