Fan Motor Help R

Step 1 Create a standard (mm).ipt

Step 2 Start a new sketch
Note the axle is on the top and the
solder terminals are on the bottom.

Step 3 Draw a circle at the origin and dimension it to 27.7 mm in diameter.

Step 4 Extrude join the circle to 32.6 mm.

Step 5 Create a new sketch on top of the last
extrusion. Draw two circles with a diameter of 2.6
mm that are both 8.0 mm from the center.

Step 6 Extrude cut the two circles to 5.0 mm downward (into the part).

Step 7 Create a new sketch on top of the part and draw a circle in the center with a
diameter of 10.0 mm.

Step 8 Extrude join the circle to 3.5 mm.
Step 9 Create a new sketch at the center and draw a
circle at the center with a diameter of 2.3 mm.

Step 10 Extrude join to 10.0 mm

Step 11 Fillet the end of the last extrusion to 1.0 mm.

Step 12 Rotate the motor to the bottom and draw a new sketch at the center with a
radius of 10.0 mm.

Step 13 Extrude join the circle to 2.0 mm.
Step 14 Create a new sketch on the top of the last extrusion. Draw a circle with a
diameter of 2.3 mm

Step 15 Extrude join to 0.8 mm
upward.

Step 16 In the browser window open the origin folder and click
on the XZ plane to make it visable. In the Sketch panel click on the
plane command to create a work plane. Click on the XY plane and
pull the work plane outwared when the dimension box pops
open enter 12 mm. Repeat this by creating a work plane in the
opposite direction or -12 mm.

Step 17 Creating the motor solder terminals
Draw a new sketch on the 12 mm work
plane. Draw a rectangle that is 3.0 mm
by 5.0 mm that touches the part as
shown. Extrude join the part to 2.0 mm.

Step 18 Use the fillet command to
fillet the solder terminal to 1.0 mm
as shown.
Step 19 - Draw the solder terminal hole. Draw a
rectangle that is 1.0 mm by 2.0 mm. Add the half
circles to the ends of the rectangle.

Extrude the
sketch a
distance of 2.0
mm.

Step 20 -Repeat creating a solder terminal to the other side of the motor ( the -12.0 mm
workplane).

Step 21 - Turn the motor over so that you can see the axle.
Use the fillet tool to fillet the edge of the
motor to 1.0 mm.

Step 22 - Creating the front air vents
On the front of the motor in the same
plane as the screw holes create a new 2D
sketch. Draw two circles centered at the
origin one with a diameter of 14.0 mm
and the other 20.0 mm. Draw a radius
from the center outward to the left and
then another radius also to the left
dimension the angle between them to be 52.37 degrees. Draw horizontal and vertical
lines so you can place the radius up 16.19 degrees off the horizontal. Use the trim
command to remove the parts of the circles that are not need. Use the three point arc
command to put half circles and the ends of the
vent holes. Extrude cut the air vent holes
downward to 10.0 mm
