Fan Base Help

Step 1 Start a standard ipt file.

Step 2 Create a new two dimensional sketch

Step 3 -Draw a horizontal line and
dimension it 2.939 in long, draw a circle
with a diameter of 1.960 inches and
dimension it 4.715 above the horizontal
line. Draw angled lines from the
horizontal lines and make them tangent
to the circle.














Step 4 - Draw a horizontal line that is
0.36 in above the bottom of the
sketch. Draw a circle that is 1.410 in
above this line with a diameter of
2.820 in. Draw another circle with
the same center as the 2.820 in with
a diameter of 0.524 in.













Step 5 At the center of the 1.960 inch circle draw a new circle with the diameter
of 0.420 inches. Draw a circle with a diameter of 0.560 in that is 0.800 in from the
0.420 circle. At the bottom of the sketch draw to tangent circles that are
between the two horizontal lines and the angled side of the sketch.












Step 6- Add the battery holes Draw to circles with a diameter of 0.30 in that is
1.228 in down from the switch hole (0.460 in).

Step 7 Create the top air hole - Draw a circle with a diameter of 1.36 in
concentric with the top of the fan. (the center is the same as motor hole or up
0.80 in from the 0.56 in bottom air hole). Draw a circle with the a diameter of
0.30 in on the Y- axis ( on the top of the circle.)











Step 8 Create the horizontal air holes Draw two circles with a diameter of 0.36
in in the horizontal direction on the same circle as the other air holes.





Step 9 Create the diagonals for the air holes , Draw to diagonals through the
center of the large circle with an angle of 45 degrees.











Step 10 Draw the two upper holes with a diameter 0.30 in on the 45 degree
angle on the 1.36 in
circle.








Step 11 Draw the two lower air vent circles on the 45 degree line with the
diameter 0.45 inches.







Step 12 Clean up the upper part of the fan base by deleting the diagonals and
the centers of the circles.

Step 13- Clean Up the Bottom of the fan base Delete the lines and use the trim
command to remove the construction lines so that it looks like below.










Step 14 - Add The DC power Adapter hole - Draw a circle with a diameter of 0.30
in 0.56 in above the two circles as shown.








Step 15 - Extrude join to
0.132 in
