@Miranda, it is definitely possible to double major, and that is something that you can speak to your
advisor about when you come to orientation. At this time, you can't choose two majors, but you can
disuse that with your advisor at orientation to get his or her input on the best way to double major.

@Trina, Absolutely! The University of Arizona likes to admit students, not test scores. To do this we
look at a student holistically in our comprehensive review process. Students are evaluated based on
their unweighted GPA, the rigor of their coursework (Honors, IB, AP courses), dual-enrollment,
leadership experience, and work experience

We do not require students to submit test scores (SAT, ACT), but it is highly recommended as that is
how students are considered for merit based scholarships and the Honors College.

college freshmen year, can they apply again for their sophomore year if they meet the requirements?

No, we do not. If students live off campus they may want to look into complexes that provide
transportation

options to purchase year long passes

We use a 7 point scale and I know other schools that use a 10 point scale, so I may have a 91% in
AP Calculus AB as a B grade while another student with the same grade and class in another school
counts that as an A grade. Would my grade be converted to match

Would be getting an off-campus job be a good idea for my freshman year? I have been told it isn't
the best idea and I also plan on shadowing a vet for my 4 years of undergrad to get the upper hand

Hey Adetokunbo! NAS students are called National Scholars at the UA and Out of State Students
currently qualify for $30,000 a year renewable for up to 4 years AND a $1,500 stipend to study
abroad.
