FUNCTIONS AND TIME ALLOCATION:
Functions Time Allocation

1. Formulates annual health plan for specific health programs.

2. Provides technical assistance to LGUs and other stakeholders
on matters pertaining to health program management.

3. Monitors and evaluates the implementation of health programs
and projects.

4. Coordinates with the local government, other government
agencies, NGOs and other stakeholders for an effective and
integrated health program implementation.

5. Performs other related functions as may be assigned.

FUNCTIONS AND TIME ALLOCATION:
Functions Time Allocation

1. Guides local health units in implementation of public health
programs, and educates them on health issues and indicators
such as statistics on prevalent diseases and hospital
operations.

2. Monitors the activities of public health nurses and midwives in
local health units on proper nursing practices through periodic
field inspections and other methods.

3. Collaborates with the local government and participates as
member of the Local Health Board to formulate plans,
monitors official resolutions, and supports other health or
environment related local programs.

4. Liaises between local health units and other agencies
regarding program resource requirements.

5. Monitors the progress of public health programs, projects,
facilities, and services by evaluating and consolidating
accomplishment reports, and other methods.

6. Develops referral systems to ensure patient access to
advance health facilities when necessary.

7. Performs other related functions as may be assigned.

inspections and other evaluative methods.

2. Prepares and consolidates reports such as hospital
deficiency summaries, annual statistical report, and final
evaluations reports.

3. Advises walk-in clients on rules, regulations, and
requirements on hospital establishment and maintenance.

4. Disseminates information on Hospital Standards and
Regulations.

5. Performs other related functions as may be assigned.

FUNCTIONS AND TIME ALLOCATION:
Functions Time Allocation

1. Monitors the implementation of public health programs in
areas such as District Health Offices, Rural Health Units and
Microscopy Centers against required standards.

2. Educates and counsels patients and families regarding health
programs and practices.

3. Recommends allocations of TB Drugs, supplies, equipment,
vaccines and other materials for different catchment areas.

4. Checks on the status of Cold Chain facilities.

5. Performs as a member of a municipality/city LHB.

6. Attends the regular Municipal/City meetings.

7. Liaises between the DRCO and the LCE as assigned.

8. Attends the regular cluster meeting and provides feedback to
the DRCO about issues, concerns and activities.

9. Collects and analyzes reports from his/her municipality/city of
assignment

10. Submit monthly reports, DTR, itinerary and accomplishment
report and semi-annual PES to the DRCOs

11. Performs other related functions as may be assigned.
