enterprises in Bali) and Fashion for Development
(fashion4development.com).
The art of embroidery is the focus of this
teamwork: the establishment of mobile schools
with the aim of teaching the locals embroidery
so that such women can fnd a job more easily.

to give a young Balinese female embroiderer
a job and to provide for her future.
The making of the garments, which is obtained
through the fnicky job of female embroiderers,
enhances the ancient embroidery techniques
that are passed on from one generation
