The Dietetic Internship with Andrews University incorporated a wide range of rotation-based involvements. An emphasis
was held on the most impactful aspects of community health, clinical, and food service management.
Kettering Health Network Hospitals
Dayton, Ohio
Clinical rotations at four different hospitals within the Kettering Health Network included experience in
medical/surgical care, nutrition support, cardiac, oncology, pediatrics, and renal rotations
Utilized the Nutrition Care Process, performed initial nutrition assessments, provided specialized diet education,
and completed follow-up visits throughout each rotation
Grandview Medical Center
Dayton, Ohio
Successfully completed four weeks of staff relief in the Medical/Surgical, Intensive Care, Acute Care, PostProcedural, Orthopedic, and Geriatric Psychological Units with strong experience in enteral and parenteral
nutrition support
Created bulletin boards, handouts, and tray cards for Heart Month and National Nutrition Month
Developed and designed signs for the cafeteria Grab N Go foods
Designed, marketed and prepared an Italian theme meal serving over 300 hospital employees and guests
