Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services


(formerly know as Wrap Around)
Wrap around services are provided to children and their families in a childs home and/or
educational environment. Services include Behavioral Specialist Consultant, Mobile Therapy,
and/or Therapeutic Support Staff. Only children who receive Medical Assistance (MA) may be
eligible for these services. Children may be eligible for MA if they have a mental health or
educational diagnosis or disability OR if the familys financial situation is such that they
qualify for MA as their primary form of insurance. If you have difficulties finding an agency

Crisis Services
These are immediate, crisis-oriented mental health services designed to address the emergency
needs of adults, adolescents, children and families who exhibit an acute problem of disturbed
thought, behavior, mood, or social relationships. Services include intervention, assessment,
counseling, and screening.

Bucks County Children and Youth Social Services Agency
In addition to providing Child Protective Services focused on allegations of abuse or neglect, this
agency also provides General Protective Services to families in need of social service support
who are unable to meet the medical or educational needs of a child; assists families in finding
resources regarding housing, drug/alcohol treatment, mental health treatment, truancy concerns,
parent education, and family counseling.

Information/Assistance for Families in Need
Hunger Nutrition Coalition of Bucks County: Provides families from low-income households
with access to resources for food security and basic nutritional needs. Food pantry locations

Free Diapers for Children ages 3 and up: Children who receive MA are eligible for free
diapers. To receive this benefit, families must get a doctor's prescription for diapers stating that
the child is not potty trained. They must receive prior authorization from their MA provider.
Parents should then take the prescription and the childs MA card to a pharmacy where the
pharmacist will order the diapers. They will be able to pick up the diapers on a regular basis.
