Prosecutor Kym L. Worthy has charged Erroll Ramone Milliner, 28 (2/14/85), and JeQuis TinaDominique Mayes, 24 (1/24/89), both of Detroit, in connection with a fatal car crash that killed four people that occurred on September 22, 2013 at 2:40 a.m. at Hurlbut Street and the I-94 Service Drive. Mayes was driving a Chrysler with three women when she and her boyfriend, Milliner, had a verbal argument. Mayes fled the scene in her car and Milliner pursued her in his Chevrolet. It is alleged that both defendants drove their car at high rates of speed. Mayes failed to stop at a stop sign and continued through an intersection crashing through fencing when her car went airborne, landing on a Ford traveling on eastbound I-94 containing a man and two women. Milliner also failed to stop at the stop sign and ran off the road disabling his vehicle. All of the passengers in Mayes car were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Dkeya Hodges, 20 of Detroit, died at the hospital from injuries she sustained while riding in Mayes car. Mayes and the other female were treated for injuries they sustained in the crash. Jimmie Barnett, 71, Angie Battle, 52, and Rosie Glenn, 66, all of Detroit, were killed when Mayes car hit their Ford on I-94.
