Reverse Osmosis System

Reverse Osmosis is a water purification technology that uses a semi-permeable membrane. This membrane technology is properly a filtration method. In RO, an applied pressure is used to overcome osmotic pressure, a colligative property that is driven by chemical potential, a thermodynamic parameter. The result is that the solute is retained on the pressurized side of the membrane and the pure solvent is allowed to pass to the other side. RO can remove many types of molecules and ions from solution and is used in both industrial and domestic sector to get pure water fit enough for drinking and other processes. Here are few parameters to be taken care of while using RO system with the permissible limits for the longevity of membrane used and better performance of the system.

Industrial RO Systems
Industrial RO systems are heavy duty systems which can give you a treated water of a range of 100 LPH (Liter per Hour) to 5000 LPH and even more depending upon the requirement. Here Vertical multistage pump is engaged to overcome the needed osmotic pressure to get the pure water. Ro membranes of different sizes and flow rate are designed in such a way that required flow is obtained. For pre- filtration of water and to save the life of RO membrane Pressurized Sand Filter and Activated Carbon Filter followed by Cartridge filter of 5 micron size is provided. In our systems several mechanism, accessories and fittings are provided in the design for the cleaning and sustainability of the equipment. A fully automatic system with backwash facility is also available.
