They recently received funding to expand and have asked our class for help deciding what animals to add.

Since our class has recently been learning about animals, the local zoo has asked us to research animals for their expansion. Your task is to: Determine what you already know about zoo animals Pick an animal with your group Find out about each animals diet, habitat, and daily life

After this, your group will create a diorama and write a paper to show what youve learned about your animal.
Finally, each group will bring their diorama together to show the local zoo their ideas!

Choose an animal! Does everyone have a job?


In this step, you will need to choose an animal then divide your group into jobs.
We need: A Nutritionist to determine what types of things your animals eat; A Habitat Specialist to research what type of habitat in which your animal lives; A Daily Life Expert to figure out how your animal spends their day.

Title Introduction Task Process Step One Step Two Step Three Step Four The paper will organize the research you have done. It should follow the 5 paragraph format: Introduction, Body 1, Body 2, Body 3, Conclusion. Each group member will be responsible for a body paragraph and should answer the 3 questions given to their job. Using the new knowledge of your animal, create a diorama showing your animal. It should represent what you have learned about your animal. Be sure to accurately create their habitat, along with adding what they eat and what they may be doing (for example, elephants do not climb trees. So, you would not place an elephant in a tree in your diorama).

This is the final step of the project. In this step, you will create a diorama and write a 5 paragraph paper.
