Mens Firsts Match Report

Miramar Rangers Victoria University 2 0

That said, we battled manfully, created our fair share of chances and could easily have taken the lead ourselves at various stages and then potentially forged a different result. Nonetheless, we have not been maintaining possession as well as we would like in attack and there are some aspects of our defensive play as a team that have been letting us down. A slight tweak in our training regime is being implemented and we are looking forward to taking on the next challenge of Waterside Karori at home this coming Saturday (the Gossies will be providing the curtain-raiser). Young Seb was our man-of-the-match for dealing with some criticisms levelled in the first period and then striving hard to express himself on the ball in the second half.
