When only the best is good enough

We are proud to use only the kind of raw material that is able to meet the highest requirements, and that comes from environmentally sound forests. The finest birch and pine trunks are carefully selected for the production of UPM veneers. We produce birch and pine veneers for a wide variety of end uses. Customer-orientation and constant focus on developing tailor-made solutions have always been among the cornerstones of UPMs operations. Our flexible and individually manufactured veneers are fully able to meet the modern needs of our customers.

For every need and purpose

Birch has a tight and dense wood structure that is well suited for beautiful and elegant interior design and furniture use. It has a uniform structure, and a light and calm pattern, which can be easily modified to any shade by e.g. staining. Because of its excellent strength qualities, birch is the best wood to be used for demanding end uses. Finnish pine is mainly used for surface veneers. It also suits home interior decorating because of its warm colour and pattern. Most commonly it can be found in furniture, kitchen fittings, doors, ceiling and wall panels.

Face veneers
Sliced and rotary-cut face veneers are mainly used in furniture, panels, doors and other board products.
