The most important facets of this class are as follows: 1. Safety at all times. This means being aware of your surroundings and the people that inhabit them. Cars are heavy. Gas is flammable. Electricity kills people. People who are not comporting themselves in a safe manner will be asked to leave the class and will receive and absence for the day. 2. Full participation. If your hands are not greasy by the end of class, you are doing something wrong. Wear clothes that you dont care about! 3. The 25/50 rule is in effect. Consistent tardiness and absence will not be tolerated and will result in failure. 4. All work will be done in class. Evaluation will be based on participation, attitude, and the final tune-up project which will be done in assigned teams the last week of class.
