1. Obama Calls for review of Deportations(Politico) - President Barack Obama finally gave to pressure from immigration rights activists and signaled on Thursday that he may change his deportation policy. Obama announced in a meeting that he has requested a review of his administrations enforcement policies for immigration laws to see if that enforcement can be done more humanely within the confines of the law. 2. Obama Cracks Down on For-Profit Colleges(Politico) The Obama Administration proposed a regulatory regimen that could shut down hundreds of degree programs enrolling a million students in fields ranging from accounting to air-conditioning repair for failing to place graduates in well-paying jobs. 3. John McCain Cites Ronald Reagan, Slams GOP on Ukraine Aid(Politico) - Sen. John McCain criticized fellow Republicans on Thursday for objecting to a package of aid and sanctions to respond to the Ukrainian crisis, calling himself embarrassed and telling his GOP colleagues: Dont call yourself Reagan Republicans. 4. Senate Confirms New CIA Lawyer (Politico) - The Senate voted Thursday to confirm a new general counsel for the Central Intelligence Agency, after senators apparently removed holds they had on the nomination over concerns that the spy agency was not cooperating with an ongoing investigation into Bush-era interrogation practices. 8. John Boehner, Nancy Pelosi Extend Invite to Pope Francis (Politico) - Speaker John Boehner has invited Pope Francis to address a joint session of Congress. It is an open invitation, the speakers office said, and its not yet clear when hell give the speech on Capitol Hill. 9. Obama to Meet with Immigration Advocates (Politico) - President Barack Obama will meet Friday afternoon with immigration advocates, including those who have publicly called for him to stop deportations, according to two people who have received invitations. 10. Rand Paul Eyes Election Fix to 2016 Problem (Politico) - Rand Paul, recently announced he has has a solution for his political and legal dilemma facing his prospective 2016 campaign: Elect new members to the Kentucky state House.
