This is a simple sentence. This sentence is divided into two parts that is noun phrase and verb phrase. The noun phrase consists of determiner and noun that is the and scorpion respectively. In the verb phrase, it consists of five different elements; ve rb, adverb, determiner, noun and prepositional phrase. The verb moved down is built of main verb, moved and particle, down. As for the prepositional phrase, it consists of preposition, towards and noun, the box.

This is also a simple sentence which is only consists of two parts. They are noun phrase as the subject and the verb phrase as the predicate. The subject in this sentence is Juana. For the predicate, it consists of two elements, the verb and the adverb. This adverb silently is explaining more about the verb prayed.

Prepositional phrase is made up of a preposition over, and the words its head that make it a phrase.
