% time To assist the Head Digital Diplomacy and Web Editor in managing 55 and updating - gov.uk/world/India which is the UK governments public and digital face in India. - British High Commissions social media platforms (Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, Facebook, Podbean, Storify, Blogs, Eventbrite and Foursquare channels) - Editing and uploading blogs on the blog platforms Independently handle the above in Heads absence. Plan, organise and manage content for India Intranet to deliver a 35 high quality and efficient service. Updating the content on India Intranet, SharePoint sites and assist Head Digital Diplomacy in managing the content production and increasing staff engagement on Intranet. 10 Focusing on delivering timely performance with confidence and taking responsibility and accountability in the following areas: Media related activities Assist the department during specific events which would include following up with the press and helping to organise the media for events.

Essential on arrival: A Self-starter, with proven energy and initiative in overcoming obstacles, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise with minimal supervision. Excellent team working skills, with strong ability to build co-operative working relationships across our own network Knowledge to work with different content management systems, knowledge on how social media works, knowledge of Intranet, SharePoint IT competent: Skilled at using social media to gather information efficiently. Highly competent in standard MS Office tools, such as Word, Outlook and Excel. Capable of resolving own minor IT concerns such as setting up email accounts without supervision. 3. 6. Starting Salary: For BHC candidates, the LE BHC Terms & Conditions will apply. For other than BHC candidates, Salary will be Rs. 29173/- per month.
