Application instructions Studielink

This step-by-step instruction manual will guide you through the process of applying to Saxions English-taught programmes. For most programmes, Saxion uses Studielink, the Dutch online application tool for higher education in the Netherlands. Access Studielink through our online application-wizard at http://www.saxion.edu/application-form. Select the programme of your choice and follow the instructions. Click Apply now to go to Saxions Studielink portal.

Step 1: Apply for a Studielink-account

Step 1a: Click on Apply for username and password.

Step 1b: Fill in the application form to apply for a username and password. After filling out and submitting the registration form, you will receive 2 separate e-mails from no_reply@studielink.nl containing your password and username. Step 1c: Click Go to the home page to login and start your application.

Step 2: Complete your personal details

Step 2a: Click Log in via Studielink on Studielinks homepage.

Step 2b: Login with the username you created and the password sent to you by Studielink.

Step 2c: Change your password. After successfully logging in, change your password and click Confirm.

Step 3: Start your application

You are now ready to start your application. In some cases Saxion uses a different name for the programme than mentioned in Studielink. Use the following data to check what programme you need to apply for in Studielink. Important: please check the conversion table on page 16 for the correct programme names! Step 3a: Start a new application

Start your application by submitting your previous education. Click the green button Add previous education.

Step 3b: Add previous education

Fill in the form and click Confirm. Go back to My Studielink page.

Step 3c: Start your enrolment application

Step 3d: Select study programme

Select the academic year you want to enrol in. Select University of Applied Sciences. Select Bachelor or Master depending on the programme of your choice. Select the programme you wish to apply for and use the table on page xx to check what programme you need to select. Some programmes are taught in both Deventer and Enschede. Check the table on page 16 to check at what campus the programme you wish to apply for is taught and select the campus you want to study at. Study programme format needs to be Full Time.

Click Confirm study programme.

Step 3e: Select starting date

Be careful, this is a tricky step! 1. 2. 3. Some of our programmes may have 2 intakes each year, check page xx to see if this applies to the programme of your choice. If necessary, change the starting date. Click Confirm starting date.

Step 3f: Specific questions The following questions are very important, please carefully read and answer these questions. Tick the checkbox where it says Saxion 2012/2013 Tuition Fees Regulation'. If you want to apply for the Foundation Summer Course or Preparatory Short Track, please select accordingly. Fill in what language test you took and what your results are. If you have not taken a test yet, please let us know by typing none. If you are applying through a recruitment agent, fill in their name and e-mail address. In some cases, it is necessary to select a specialisation, please check the table on page 16 to see if that is the case for the programme you are applying for. Answer the question about starting your own business. Click Confirm.

Click Continue to My Studielink page. You will be redirected to http://www.saxion.edu/ for more information about the admission procedure.
