Shape
Shape is when a line crosses itself or intersects with other lines to enclose a space, it creates a shape. Shape is twodimensional and has height and width, but no depth. What are the categories of shapes?

Texture is the surface quality of an object. Categories of texture
Real texture- actual texture of an object Implied texture- 2D art looks like a certain texture but just a piece of paper or canvas

Space
Space refers to the space inside, around, and above a sculpture or object. Space in a two-dimensional drawing or painting refers to the arrangement of objects on the picture plane. The picture plane is the surface of your drawing paper or canvas. 2D space has height and weight but no depth.
