Top ten Key Words in Exam Questions Most subjects use these skills, but not all subjects use these key words in the exam papers. For example, in History we ask students to evaluate a source, but the question does not use that word. Your teachers will help you to understand other subject specific words and what skill is being used in each question. Analyse This is a skill. It is not often in the key word.
